Memorial Day.

I wrote this song. Dedicated to every person who fought for me and my country.
As I look out my car window.
 At the cemetery's and the graves.
There lay the bodies of the brave People.
 Who gave their lives for us.
Shed there blood.
 Out of love.
So I just want to say.

 Thank You.
For giving your lives.
For sacrificing through the pain and the strife.
 Thank You.
For fighting for me.
 So I could live safe and free.
I just want to say. Thank You.
  Not only on memorial day.

In another country.
 Where war was raging.
You stood there.
  Patiently waiting.
To fight.
 For our lives.
Giving every thing.
 To protect what you had lived for.
 Thanks to you.
For now and ever more.
 I can say.
