what makes me happy

Coming from a person who gets worked up over the smallest problems, sometimes it's easy to forget how simple happiness is. I 'occasionally' over think things, which can complicate what is normally easy. In order to help myself, I often make lists. Lists keep my mind focused and more on track. Hence the following.

Here is a list of ten things that make me incredibly happy.

Organizing my room just kind of makes feel less messy than I actually am, which makes me happy.

Photo shoots are something that I absolutely love. I don't mean big, fancy ones that look professional, because lets be real I'm not a fantastic photographer. But just getting some friends, ( or sister, aka the photos above ) going downtown, and snapping pictures is great!
When someone compliments me I try to act cool and be like, "Oh, thanks man." but internally I am dying and saving the compliment to relive over and over again.

Laundry is surprisingly becoming my favorite 'chore'. The smell of the detergent and the feeling of conquering all the many stains gives me a sense of empowerment.

Lucky Charms flipping rock. If I could choose one cereal to eat for the rest of my life, it would be Lucky Charms. I don't even eat it for breakfast or with milk, I just fill a cup and then eat all the cereal, while leaving the heavenly marshmallows for last.

Binge watching shows is like my ultimate mood booster. It helps me forget the things that stress me out, and it also helps me calm down. In short, TV shows are my drug.

Listening to music while attempting to dance is what I do 24/7. Not even kidding.

Reading is this amazing escape from reality that I should experience more often. I don't read near as much as I used too. I blame Netflix and the Internet.

K-pop bands are something that I never imagined I would become obsessed with, but it happened. The amount of hours I have spent watching compilations and guest TV appearances on YouTube are countless.

Really annoying words/phrases that become overused are basically what my dictionary consists of.
Fam, dude, lit, low-key, dang daniel, skrib, get reckt, chill, fight me, the stuggle is real, etc. I would give anything to stop using these, but I can't. I physically and mentally can not. So many intelligent conversations have burned when I say "okay fam" or "get reckt skrib" or "dude, chill". I sound like a ten year old boy. #thestruggle
If I had to be honest though, it makes me low-key happy.

Also, y'all should totally comment what your all time happiness triggers are. Because reading comments causes indescribable happiness.

I apologize for not being on top of blogging, and for having absolutely disappeared for the past monthish. I actually do not have my own computer yet, but I just recently bought one and it is getting here next week. Turn up. So hopefully I will be posting a lot more!
Also, doesn't my sister look so cute with the blue hair? Check her out here since she is constantly begging me for a shout out. Happy now Charish?

you are my high and low

I kind of force my friend to model for me because she is absolutely beautiful.

Everyone has highs and lows,
but not everyone has self control.
The ability to hold yourself together
isn't something that's always remembered.
Because you can forget who you are,
and start to fall back into the dark.
Not able to push past the barrier.
Failing to see that things will get better.
Its something simple,
yet you're stuck trying to figure it out.
Good luck, because I'm still confused and surrounded by doubt.

My mood tends to differ from the people around me. It's like this unfortunate thing that I am unhappy when people are happy, and happy when people are unhappy. I think it might be this inner jealousy inside me that is always measuring my happiness against others. Or maybe it's just that time of month.
Who knows.
All I know is that currently I have been over thinking and stressing the small insignificant things, and it is probably the most annoying thing I could put myself through.

I love you guys! Thank you so much for following me and for commenting. You have no idea how much it means to me!

current favorites - music, books, tv, ect.

I have never actually done one of these before, but since my favorites are obviously so important I figured I might share them with you all.

I have always loved the world of Harry Potter, like the movie series makes it into my top three series of all time. I am completely obsessed with Harry Potter. Having watched the movies countless times, quoted it constantly, and even patiently waited for my Hogwarts letter. So how in the world had I never read the a single Harry Potter book? I have no explanation, except for that my life hasn't been complete until I completed this book.

Oh my word. This book was so good that thinking about it makes me want to re-read it over and over again. Just yes.

I have not yet read the other books in the series but I am definitely going to. The book lacked a few things, but the basic plot and story were really good! I loved it so much! It's definitely one of my favorites.

I would just like to point out that I did really like this book, a lot. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't say it was my favorite. It had so many good elements, and then there was the fact that I got annoyed by the characters. They were really cute books though!

I have an extremely broad music taste, I guess, but I just can't help it. Music is such a flipping big part in my life! There are so many songs, artists, bands, and such little time. Honestly, I could write a small paragraph of why I love each of the following songs, but that would take forever, so why don't you listen to a few and decided if you like them as well!
And yes, even the two K-pop songs. Hey! You never know unless you try, right?

One Punch Man
This is an anime, and I actually don't know if any of you guys like anime so I am always a little unsure if I should talk about it or not? Because I have heard MANY different views on anime, some of which include judging the person who watches it. Awkward.
Any who, this anime is a comedy, action, and parody anime which is so entertaining I don't know where to begin. Basically this guy is so overpowered that he can wipe out any enemy with one punch. He becomes a hero and he literally looks like an egg.
No, really. I absolutely love it. Its so refreshing, as far as anime goes, and I love how it goes from being utterly stupid to making me cry. Guys, I am not kidding, this is life.

This show completes me! I started off not thinking I would like it, and I thought it might get a little too dark. Truth is, it is pretty dark compared to The Flash and other shows, but that is what makes me like it so much! I really like seeing the characters and their origins, especially Nygma. I feel for him on so many levels, its not even funny.

Have you guys seen the new episode? It is fantastic! I was so happy to see all the characters again after the hated hiatus between seasons. I won't say any more in order to avoid spoilers, but seriously. Just watch it.

Okay, I need to finish this before the list becomes endless.

This post was new territory for me, but I hope y'all didn't hate it too much! *nervous chuckle*
Let me know what your current favorites are, as I always love finding new things to obsess over!
And dude, if you like any of the things I mentioned, comment and I will rant with you. I'm not even kidding.

i quite value my breath

she goes down to the basement
holding a box which contains broken parts
a box representing her broken heart

she places the box on the cracked cement
this box which she vows to never open again
and then
she ascends back up the crooked stairs
leaving this box to collect the dust in the air

in the box is the entirety of her past
she does this in an attempt to forget the people in those photographs ever existed
but she knows that this momentary courage to remove the memories wont last

she might eventually want to remember
to run her fingers over the words and images
the times that she secretly treasures

this box is her escape
once it is closed only she can choose to open it
but she can also choose to run away

Well hi there. This was a lame attempt to try and write something until I get a better idea. In order to make this even more lame, would you like to hear my favorite pickup line at the moment? I think you do.

I value my breath so it would be nice if you didn't take it away every time you walked by.

So, I am currently trying to update my 'about me' page and oh my word its so difficult. I can't decide whether to do a bullet list or if I should go into detail about my popcorn addiction and the amount of times I have watched Sherlock. I am half joking. #thestruggleisreal
If you guys have any tips or ideas I would be eternally grateful, as I have a terrible habit of turning any simple writing task into a novel.

in which it snowed

ahaha trying to be dramatic
yer a wizard harry
the picture before i became a quitter and went inside to avoid frostbite
I don't exactly know who, if anyone, still exists on here. So in order to reduce the awkward introduction/summary of what I have been doing in the past year, I will save that for a future post and just skip it for now.
It snowed, as you can probably tell from the pictures, and it was fantastic! To say I was incredibly flipping excited is an understatement. After having a winter that feels like you are in a tropical forest and a Christmas in which I could have jumped into a lake and not even considered the possibility of hypothermia, I started to believe that I was going to have a cold less, snow less winter. Who in the world wants a winter without the feeling of icy air hitting your cheeks and snowflakes falling gently on your skin? Definitely not me, so patiently I waited for the day where I could officially start winter and embrace the cold. That was today. It is now winter and I am now content to continue on with 2016.
In celebration of it being below freezing, I forced my sister to participate in a not so professional photo shoot. Shout out to her for wearing a Dino onesie and criticizing my smile, I couldn't have done it without her.
There is just something about the snow, ya know? Everything becomes 100x more incredible, and even the things that were not particularly spectacular before become breath taking. It kinda makes the ordinary a little bit more magical. I don't exactly know how, as it is only frozen water. But it is frozen water that I love and adore with a deep passion to which I can't even put into words.
I have to admit though, despite all the obviously deep reasons why I am passionate about the snow, getting out of school was pretty great. The only thing that I don't miss about home school was having to do school when it snowed. At least now I have a valid excuse to skip out on assignments and be lazy. Hooray.
I apologize for this terribly messed up and rather sporadic post, it is getting late and I think my bed is calling my name. In fact this whole thing was a spur of the moment sort of ordeal. I rather liked it though. I hope to do this again very soon in the future.
last note:
Has it snowed for any of you guys? Are you as obsessed with the cold as I am? Or are you more of a warm rays of sunshine sort of babe.
